She was born on July 2, 1954, in Richmond Texas to Louis and Elvis Wleczyk. Lucille grew up in Needville on the family farm and attended Needville High School.
Lucille was a gentle soul and always ready to help anyone in need. She enjoyed the outside hearing the birds sing, working in the garden, and her pet cat.
Lucille is survived by her sister Sally Wleczyk and brother Louise Wleczyk Jr., numerous cousins, and her church family.
She was a faithful servant to the Lord and a member of St. Paul's Presbyterian church.
Those honored to serve as casket bearers Albert Sonny Urbanek, Brandon Shavers, Bert Urbanek, Dexter Shavers, Fred Deluna, & Jessie Shaver III.
The family will receive friend from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M., at St Paul's Presbyterian Church, and funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., on Friday, February 27, 2026. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions in memory of Lucille Elvis Wlecky, the family wished memorials would be made to St. Paul's church building fund.
