Her Legacy Lucita Garciano Nulf, 80, passed away September 3, 2023. She was born on June 2, 1943, in Paz, Poro, Camotes Island, Cebu, Philippines to Fabian Otero Garciano and Encarnacion Donnaire Pilapil. Lucita married the love of her life, Norman Nulf, in May of 1971, in Lansing, Michigan. She will be remembered as a loving, nurturing woman who adored and took care of her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking and had a special knack for gardening. Lucita loved flowers and really made things grow. She loved to crochet things for her family and made beautiful dresses in her younger years. Lucita was active in the Filipino Community and will be missed by her many friends there.
Her Family Lucita will be missed by her Husband, Norman; her children, Eric Nulf, Tina (Jeff) Hughey; her brother, Virgilio Garciano; grandchildren, Shaylee, Malyna and Alyssa; and her many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Fabian and Encarnacion Garciano and her daughter-in-law, Danyel.
Her Farewell Lucita's family and friends will gather Wednesday, September 6, 2023 from 4:00-7:00PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Howell Memorial Chapel in Howell, Michigan. Her Community Farewell will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 11:00AM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Howell Memorial Chapel in Howell, Michigan. Reverend Mary Ivanov will serve as Celebrant.
