Lucretia “Dolli” Bacchi, of Littleton MA, formerly of Billerica MA, found peace on February 11, 2024. Beloved wife for over 58 years to Anthony “Tony” Bacchi. Loving mother of daughter Diana Paradis and her husband George, and her son Anthony Bacchi, Jr.
Sister of Santa Ann “Sandy” Leone of Cambridge and Waltham; and the late George, Dominic, James (“Jack”), and Baby Catherine Lamantea. Devoted daughter of the late Catherine and Frank Lamantea.
Wherever she went, Dolli’s engaging personality often turned complete strangers into lifelong friends within minutes. She loved dogs, kissing babies on their bellies, and never met a cookie, candy bar, or scoop of ice cream she didn’t like.
A feisty Italian who proudly bragged of her Sicilian heritage, Aunt Dolli struck fear into the hearts of misbehaving relatives with “The Look,” followed by a well-placed pinch that brought the instigator to their knees with a shriek of pain and laughter, begging for mercy.
She cherished skiing and trips with her brother Dom and her extended “Long Island Tire Family,” legendary casino junkets to Atlantic City and Las Vegas with her brother Jack, and the company and love of her family and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, please consider treating someone to an ice cream cone in Dolli’s honor.
A celebration of Dolli's life will be planned at a later date.
