BOSSIER CITY, LA - Services for Lucy Rance Cooper, 72, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 25th, 2024 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City, Louisiana. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Plain Dealing, Louisiana. Visitation with the family will be prior to the service on Tuesday beginning at 9:00 a.m. Officiating the service will be Hulen Warren.
Lucy was born August 2, 1951, in, Shreveport Louisiana, and passed peacefully on June 20th, 2024 in Longview, Texas after a difficult struggle with heart disease.
In life, Lucy was a successful executive, she started as a bookkeeping clerk in 1975 and retired as an Executive Vice President in 1996. After retirement, she became a successful entrepreneur and is the matriarch of a family business dynasty.
Above all, Lucy was a loving mother and devoted grandmother. Lucy devoted most of her retirement years to her family, especially her grandchildren. She took her grandchildren on several vacations, helped them with school work, and coached them with life problems.
Lucy is survived by her sons, Marcus Cooper, and Tony Cooper, and wife, Melanie; grandchildren, Landon, Bradley, Clayton, Brice, and Sara.
