Lucy Improta

Lucy (Fuoco) Improta, 77, of Enfield, beloved wife of 45 years to the late Gian Claudio Improta, entered into her eternal rest on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at St Francis Hospital. She was born in Hartford on February 20, 1945, to the late Joseph and Sebastiana (Cianci) Fuoco. She was employed by Viking Office Products for many years. Outside of work she was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed spending time with her family.
Lucy is survived by her children, Michael Improta and his wife, April of Virginia Beach, VA, John Improta of Ft. Myers, FL, Lisa Improta of Atlanta, GA and Joseph Improta and his fiancée, Courtney Conroy of Enfield; her grandchildren, Krystal, Matthew, Bailey, Manuele, Halie, Liam, and Gianna; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her
late husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Anthony Fuoco, and her daughter, Cinzia Improta.
Lucy's family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30 to 11 am on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd, Enfield. A funeral service will be held at 11 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
