Hi Bruce and Scott. I just came upon your mother obituary. May I express my heartfelt condolences to you on your loss. Your Mom, along with my mother, Betty Watson; Kay Sefchick and Janet Gordon, would get together to go out for each other's birthdays or holidays. I also would see your mom from time to time over at Triangle Building Supplies where I worked. I just retired six weeks ago. Those ladies treasured each other's company. They often came to my mother's home on Airport Road to play card games or just talk and laugh as they enjoyed each other's company. My mother passed last November 2024, so your Mom was the last remaining member of that group. They originally knew each other because they all worked together at the high school while we were in school. I have several fantastic photos of their time together. Lucy lived a long life with many blessings from her relationship with others. Sincerely, Jonathan Watson

Scott and Bruce, I'm very sorry for your loss. Aunt Lucy was quick with a smile, laugh and great hug. When she hugged me she would whisper in my ear something I have never and will never tell anyone, it was meant just for me and I will cherish that. She will be missed. I'm so glad she made it to the family reunion, and we talked about when I was your flower girl in your wedding. Fly with the Angels.
