Lucy Germann McElhaney

Lucy Germann McElhaney, age 83, of Signal Mountain, TN, left her earthly home on January 12, 2026, for her heavenly home. Her work on this earth was complete, and she touched many lives during her 83 years. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. On some sweet day, we will rejoice with her in heaven.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles William and Mary Lee Germann; maternal grandparents, John Marion and Nettie Pemberton Reed, and fraternal grandparents, Paul Gerhard and Norman Reinert Germann.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Roger McElhaney; daughters, Nan Waller of Lebanon, TN, and Penny Everett (Doug) of Burns, TN; grandchildren: Tabitha Everett of Nashville, TN, Thomas Everett (Karlye) of Columbia, TN, and Bob Waller (Chelsie) of Kansas City, MO.

There will be no visitation and the funeral service will be private. Memorial gifts may be made to Bethel Bible Village, P.O. Box 729, Hixson, TN 37343-9988.
