Lucy Mae White

Mrs. Lucy Mae White age 96, of Coral Springs, Florida passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at American House, Coconut Point in Estero, FL following an extended illness. Lucy was born September 3, 1928 in Armuchee, Georgia to the late Howard and Ruth Lillian (Self) Barton and graduated from Bradford High School. She was a homemaker and longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Starke now known as Foundation Church. Mrs. White was a member of the Starke Women's Club, the local Hospital Auxiliary and the Starke Red Hat Society. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Olin W. White, Jr., sons, Larry O. White, Robert W. White, siblings, J.C. Barton, Claude Barton, Avanelle Johnson, Olden (Pete) Barton, Clinton Barton, and Thelma (Topsy) Ebling. Survivors are; son, Michael S. White (Patricia) of Coral Springs, daughters-in-law, Melinda White of Bonita Springs, and Cindy White of Starke. Also left are five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel of Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm with funeral services beginning at 3 o'clock followed by a private interment at Crosby Lake Cemetery. Reverend Jerry Carris will officiate. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Foundation Church, P.O.
