Ludger Jean Gauthier

Ludger "Jeano" Gauthier, age 71, of Peabody, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House, following a brief illness. He was the husband of Elizabeth (Connell) Gauthier of Salem. Born in Salem, MA, in 1954, he was the son of the late Ludger J. and Jeannette (Nadeau) Gauthier. He was raised and educated in Salem, MA. Jeano worked as a glazier for ADD Glass Corp. for many years. He was an avid golfer and loved coaching and running the Cartoon Youth Basketball League in Salem.
Jeano was a man whose presence could never be missed. Loud, charismatic, and with the biggest heart imaginable, he filled every room with laughter and warmth. His happiest days were spent either with his family or enjoying time on the golf course.
In addition to his wife Elizabeth, Jeano is survived by his children Peter Gauthier, Jaime Brogan and her husband Jason, Meghan Beyea and her husband William, Kyle Gauthier and his partner Mackenzie, Michael Gauthier, and Ryan Gauthier; his 8 grandsons; his siblings, Joan Knuuttila and her husband Richard, Raymond Gauthier and his wife Ty, Donald Gauthier and his wife Mary Lou, Rick Gauthier and his wife Rhonda, Carol Theriault and her husband Victor, and Paula Gauthier, and his many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life for Jeano will be held: Sunday, November 23, 2025 from 2-6p.m. at the AOH, 58 Lowell St., Peabody, MA 01960.
