Obituary published on Legacy.com by Allwood Funeral Home - Clifton on May 29, 2024.
Ludy Botello 84 of Clifton died Tuesday, May 28, 2024. Born in Bucaramanga, Santander, Colombia on February 12, 1940, to Cayetano & Ana (Quintero) Botello she came to the United States in March 1980.
Ludy was employed over the years with various customer service-oriented jobs that allowed her personality to affect everyone she met. She retired in 2003 to allow her to focus on her family by taking care of her ailing mother and new extended family as family was and will always be her priority.
With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, Ludy Botello, who passed away on May 28, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and cherished memories that will forever be treasured by those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Ludy is survived by her daughter, Sandra Tabares, and her husband Carlos of
Orlando, FL, her son, William Morales, and his wife Deborah, along with her five grandchildren: Stephanie, Carly, Gabby, Kenneth, and Brittany. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Ash and Camila, and her sister, Vilma Hronakis of Rochelle Park. She is preceded in death by her brother, Juvenal Botello.
Ludy was a woman of many talents and passions. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially in crocheting, knitting, arts and crafts, and eating delicious candies. Her creative spirit shone through in every stitch, every project, and every confection she crafted with love.
But perhaps Ludy's greatest gift was her ability to make others feel special. With just a smile or a heartfelt phone call, she had a way of brightening anyone's day and leaving a lasting impression of warmth and kindness. Her charm was infectious, and her genuine affection touched the lives of all who crossed her path.
Ludy's love knew no bounds, especially when it came to her family. She bravely brought her children, William and Sandra, to the United States, despite not knowing English, to provide them with a better life. Her selflessness and determination were a testament to her unwavering devotion as a mother.
As we mourn the loss of Ludy, let us also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the love she shared with everyone she met. Though she may no longer be with us in body, her spirit will continue to live on in the memories we hold dear. May her legacy of love and compassion serve as a guiding light in our lives, inspiring us to always cherish the moments we share.
Rest in peace, dear Mom. Your presence will be deeply missed, but your love will forever remain in our hearts.
