Lue Jones Obituary

Born on October 25, 1945, in Marmaduke, Arkansas, to Katie Bell and Theodore Nipper, Lue lived a life defined by love, faith, and service. She had a deep love for God, her family, and her church, and she lived each day with a joyful heart and a playful spirit.
Lue proudly served her country in the United States Army, stationed in Burgundy, France, where she served as a WAC Specialist 4th Class and inventory clerk. Her time in the military remained a meaningful and proud chapter of her life.
On December 14, 1964, she married Dean Jones, and together they built a life in Holly Creek and raised four wonderful children. Lue had a gift for making others feel at home, and her playful sense of humor-especially her love of pranks-brought smiles and laughter to everyone around her.
She was a woman of many talents and creative passions. Lue found joy in making handmade greeting cards, clay figurines, and paper crafts. She had a knack for refinishing furniture and transforming the ordinary into something beautiful. Her creativity was matched only by her generosity. Lue loved to write poems and short stories about her children and their adventures, her life and family joys; causing all to laugh at the antics she so creatively described.
Lue gave selflessly of her time and energy as a volunteer, helping raise funds for the Madill Girls Home and volunteering at Gracefully Yours. Her heart for helping others was a testament to her faith and compassionate spirit.
She was preceded in death by her parents and eight of her eleven siblings.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness. Cherishing her memory are:

Lue's life was a living example of grace, strength, and unconditional love. Her legacy lives on in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and in the many hearts she touched with her kindness and joy. Lue will be forever missed by those who knew her.
Arrangements are entrusted to Bowser Family Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
