She was born to the late Albert and Louise (nee Nehrt) Salger on September 2, 1931, in Evansville, Illinois.
She was never married.
Luella had worked at Spartan Printing for 14 years and was a housekeeper at St. Clementine House and the Ruma Convert.
Luella was a lifetime member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Evansville, Illinois. She loved spending time with family and fishing with her mom and dad. Luella loved caring for other people and her little dog, Riley.
