Dr. Asanza was one of a kind. A professional who was compassionate and dedicated to all he cared for. His smile was infectious as was he. Prayers to his family. He will be missed immensely but what a legacy has he created within the Memorial Healthcare System!!

As a graduate nurse in 1982, Luis taught me all about a surgical patient and the care to provide. He was one of our most caring and loving surgeons. He will be missed.

I had the privilege of working with Dr. Azanza during my first year as a Physician Assistant. He was so talented and taught me so many valuable skills in the operating room. He was such a kind and gifted surgeon. After his retirement I became the Asanza´s neighbor and would wave hello as I would walk my dog.
