Luis M. Maldonado

Luis M. Morales Maldonado, 47, of Plainville, CT and formerly of New Britain, CT, he was the beloved husband of his teenage sweetheart Luz N. Figueroa married for 29 years; he passed suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Hospital of Central Connecticut. Born October 27, 1978 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico where he grew up and lived for many years, He was the eldest son of Manuel A, Morales and Angie R. Maldonado of Puerto Rico. Luis was a driver for O'Rielly Auto Parts. And was beloved for his kind heart, always willing to go out of his way to help others. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Besides his wife, he is survived by his three children, Luis A. Morales of New Britain, Ivanna Morales of New Britain and Abdiel Morales of Plainville; a sister, Veronica Morales and brother, Manuel Morales of Puerto Rico; two grandchildren, Andres Brito and Khaylani Morales, mother in law Carmen and brothers and sisters in law and many nieces and nephews. His family will receive friends on Thursday, March 5, 2026 from 5-7 pm at Carmon Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. Services will be held in Puerto Rico at a later date.
