Luis Muniz Obituary
Luis Muniz, age 50, passed away on November 8, 2023. Born on April 26, 1973, in Brooklyn, New York, to Aracella Alarcon and the late Luis Muniz.
Luis was the beloved husband of the late Minnie Laboy, and together they created a beautiful family. He was a devoted father to Luis G. Muniz, Crystal Muniz, Alicia Alvarez, Rafael Alvarez, and Kassandra Alvarez. Luis found joy and purpose in being a cherished grandfather to Ana Santiago, Yanilyz Santiago, Owen Santiago, Marco Rodriguez, Lazaro Gonzalez, Xavier Alvarez, Mariana Muniz, Gabriella Muniz, Guillermo Muniz, Kalel Alvarez, and Ezekiel Alvarez.
In addition to his roles as a loving husband and father, Luis was a dear brother to Barnaby Jed Muniz, Abisag Muniz, Jonathan Muniz, Nathanael Jocsan Muniz, and Isaac Muniz. His nurturing spirit extended to his nieces and nephews, including Aileen Batista, Jasmine Nelson, Xavier Muniz, Javier Muniz, Jonathan Muniz, Jermiah Muniz, Nathalia Muniz, Nathanael Muniz, Nalanie Muniz, Cassandra Muniz, and Annelisse Muniz.
Luis had a passion for playing the guitar, creating melodies that resonated with the hearts of those around him. His love for reptiles was evident in his hobby of breeding them, sharing his fascination with the wonders of these creatures with others.
Family and friends are welcome on Thursday, November 16, 2023, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors 13115 Lorain Ave. Cleveland, OH 44111, where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023, at 11 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
