Luis Santiago Born November 29th, 1968 in Brooklyn New York. He Passed away On Friday, February 14th, 2025. He made everyone laugh and did the silliest things many keep memories of. He loved action movies and comedies, some with Arnold Schwarzenegger. Both his sons now impersonate him from time to time as Luis did.
Luis had family everywhere, but he was close with his blood related sister Sylvia hey would talk on the phone from time to time to check on him or if he needed anything and would be the first to know what is going on unless someone found out before she did. Luis has 3 wonderful children Luis Jr., Jimmy, and Karen (Dolly) and he loved them, he loved all his nieces and nephews too. James and Anthony grew up in the house with him in Red Bank and treated them like his kids, so he did not just have 3, he had 5. Jessica, Jocelyn, Brandon, Victor, Angelina, and Aiden. He loved them with all his heart. Luis had a huge family, and he loved his family first and for most he was a family guy and even though he was divorced from his ex-wife Lorrie they had a good relationship communication wise. They talked and laughed like they used to before his passing even though they were apart they still had a place in each other's hearts. A time before Lorrie it was Gladys in Luis's life that brought his eldest Son Luis Jr. Into his life. He was there for the Important things in his son's life that what made him a father. Glady and Luis had their differences but again the guy made her laugh and was there for not only Luis Jr. But his other 2 siblings Melissa and Yousef and these children were also like his own too. Luis had Lots of love around him whether he knew it or not.
He was a Union Carpenter and good at what he did. He used his work skills at home and his children noticed it too and so did the grandparents because he put his skills to work when he built the pool deck and some other projects for the family too.
As far as interests go, when he wanted, he was the Chef of the Kitchen with his Latin and seafood cuisine it was some of his specialties. He was the grill master throwing down his awesome burgers and steaks, He was a Metal head. Smashing pumpkins and Metallica were his top 2 bands. His favorite sports team was the New York Yankees. Whether he watched his sports, action/ comedy, or anything that his heart desired he enjoyed a nice cold Heineken.
The man wore his clothes comfortable, sporty, and baggy he was a Adidas, and Timberland boot kind of guy and he loved his Lobsters!
He was taken too soon. He will reunite with his parents who passed before him, and may he find peace in his passing and may he be free from any pain. Luis, you will be dearly missed.
