Luisa M. (Torres-Oquendo) Jimenez, 88, of Worcester passed away surrounded by loved ones on January 11, 2024. Born October 10, 1935, in Caquas, Puerto Rico to Alberto Oquendo and Placida Torres. Luisa was the beloved life partner of the late Hector Baez and predeceased by her late husband, Francisco Jimenez.
Luisa was passionate about music, makeup, perfume, dancing, and shopping. She loved to be around her family and friends. Luisa enjoyed her Dunkin' Donuts and wine.
In addition to her parents, husband, and life partner, Luisa was predeceased by her son, Anthony Jimenez and grandson, Marco Ramos.
Luisa is survived by her loving children, Elsie Jenkins, Irma Gonzalez, and Milargos Ramos all of Worcester; her sister, Estel Adorna of Springfield; her 21 adored grandchildren; her 64 cherished great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2024, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024, at 11:00am, guests are welcome to arrive for 10:30am. Interment will immediately follow at St. John's Cemetery, Worcester.
