Luke Johnson Obituary

Luke Cornelius Lee Johnson was born on September 23, 2014 to Ebony Nottingham and LeBrandon Johnson. He passed away on October 10, 2022 following injuries resulting from a car accident.
Luke graduated from preschool as a Summa Cum Laude student. He was an honor roll student enrolled at Luella Elementary School as a second grader in Locust Grove, Georgia. He was chosen Mr. Lion Cub (Junior Homecoming
King) for the 2022-2023 school year.
Although Luke passed away at a very young age, he was born into a family where he was surrounded by love from his parents, great role models and doting grandparents.
He was a well rounded, energetic individual. He really loved sports, especially football. His goal was to become the best line backer in the state this year. In addition to his love of playing football, he also enjoyed playing baseball. When
he was not playing football or baseball, Luke could probably be found hanging out with his grandfather fishing, hunting or working on cars. His favorite video game was playing Super Heroes. Luke was also an active member of Central
Union Baptist Church where he participated in all youth activities.
Luke is survived by his parents: Ebony Nottingham and LeBrandon Johnson; sister, Lotus Johnson; grandparents: Freeman and Sarah Nottingham, Gary Johnson, Chasity Stanford, and Calandra Bryant; great grandparents: Ann Davis, Darrell Johnson, Helen P. Smith and Leroy Smith; aunts: Cornellia Nottingham, Maegean Nottingham, Portia Nottingham, Kiara Stanford, Janiecia Bryant-Rashidi, Jazmine Bryant, Y'Kia Stanford and Y'Tia Stanford; uncles: Trey Whisby, Jatavious Bryant and other relatives and friends.
