Mr. Carl A. Johnson, age 82, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2012 in Naples, Florida. He was born in Neosho, MO., on May 29, 1930 to Isaac & Ruth( Liles) Johnson and married the former Mary 'Louise' Enlow on June 10, 1951. Formerly of Muskegon, Michigan, Mr. Johnson had been the President of the America Coil Spring Company, until retiring in 1988. He had served on the Board of Directors for many organizations including Mercy General Health Partners as chairman of the Board. He was a veteran of the U S Army serving during the Korean Conflict.
He will be dearly missed by his devoted sons and daughter, Richard Alan (Mickey), Steven, and Carla (Mark) Christianson; brother, Bill Johnson; grandchildren, Jennifer Johnson, David (Vanessa) Christianson, M.D., Christina (Brad) Johnson, and Maria Christianson; great grandchild, Alexander Christianson; nieces, nephews and extended family.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 14, 2012, 11:00 AM at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon, MI with Rev. John Brown officiating, where visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will be at a later date at the IOOF Cemetery in Neosho, MO. Donations in his memory may be made to the charity of ones choice.
