Luther null Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by St. John's Family Funeral Home & Crematory on Jan. 10, 2026.
Barrett Luther Roberson, at the age of 68, decided once more that it was time to move on to greener pastures; just not the earthly ones. He hopped on that St. Augustine-to-Heavenbound bus on Monday, January 5, 2026 at 8:47am sharp.

Luther's adventures here began on July 15, 1957. He was the third of seven children born to Don and Etoile Roberson.

He was known as Barrett by many friends and new acquaintances. We hear that Barrett was quite the "social butterfly" at the nursing home there in his beloved St. Augustine.

Luther was a jack-of-all-trades, a true rebel rolling stone. He enjoyed the ocean, NASCAR racing, and Alabama football. He loved to travel and experience new places.

He will be missed!

Luther was preceded in death by his father, Don M. Roberson; mother, Etoile Duncan Roberson; son, Donnie Roberson; nephew, Brian J. Roberson, Jr.; first wife, Jenny Hawthorne.

Survived by daughter, Erika (Daniel) Reed; grandchildren, Luke Oberg, Richie Reed, Sydney Reed, Annabelle Eliza Roberson; stepmother, Linda Roberson; siblings, Marty (Brenda) Roberson, Donna (Steve) Massey, Phillip (Renee) Roberson, Cheryl (Russell) Hicks, Glenda Roberson, Brian (Karen) Roberson, and a host of nieces and nephews and their families.

"For none of us lives to himself alone and none of us dies to himself alone. If we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord." Romans 14:7-8
