Luz Peguero Obituary
Luz E. (Santa) Peguero, 59, of Porter St., Providence, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024 at Kent Hospital in Warwick, RI surrounded by her loving family. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, she was the cherished daughter of Juan and Luz M. (DeJesus) Santa of Providence.
Luz obtained her Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from CCRI and worked as a certified medical assistant for many years.
Besides her parents, she was the devoted mother of Yesenia Peguero of Los Angeles, CA, Kenny Peguero of Warwick, Jessica Peguero of Los Angeles and Jordan Peguero and Manuel Peguero both of Providence; dear sister of Eduardo Santa and Juan J. Santa and his wife Joany all of Providence; loving grandmother of Kenny, Tristan, Maiyalee, Sienna and Ayla; and loving aunt of Sky, Antonio, Sofia and the late Kaylen.
VISITING HOURS are on Sunday, September 22nd from 4pm to 8pm at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave, Cranston. Her funeral will be held on Monday, September 23rd at 8:45am from the Nardolillo Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Michael’s Church, 239 Oxford Street., Providence at 10am. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.
