Linda was born July 17, 1948, in Augsburg Germany to Alfons and Edeltraud Aloisia Sturmer.
She married Kenneth Applehans on June 20, 1966, in Augsburg Germany, later that year they relocated to the US and eventually settled down in Northglenn, CO where she cared for her family and raised her two children Dan and Bob.
Along with taking care of the household Linda worked as a cashier for King Soopers until she retired in 1994.
Linda was a loving devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved to sew, to crochet, to shop, working in the yard, and visiting with her neighbors.
She enjoyed decorating the inside of her house for the holidays, you knew what holiday it was when you walked in the house. Especially Christmas, which was her favorite holiday, there was no shortage of decorations put out, she also enjoyed giving so there was also no shortage of presents.
Linda was a dog lover, she always had dogs in her life, sometimes as many as five (though she always talked of getting more), her dogs were a big part of her life, she had two at the time of her passing (Ellie and Skittles) I know she would be happy to know they were there by her side when she passed away.
Linda was a very caring person; she also didn't have a problem saying what was on her mind. She will be deeply missed by all that know her.
Linda is survived by: Son Daniel (Dan) Applehans and Son Robert (Bob) Applehans
Grandson: Devin Applehans
Fury Children: Ellie and Skittles
Preceded in Death: Husband Kenneth Applehans and Parents Alfons and Edeltraud Aloisia Sturmer.
Her wishes were to be cremated with no funeral services to be held. The family will plan a celebration of life later.

Her sense of humor was always present. She was always a joy to be around . She will be missed I will always remember her and Kennth´s visits Her story about the the first answering machine they had and she said she wondered who´s voice that was She still had her German accent but didn´t realize it My deepest condolences to her family

Please accept my sincere condolences dear family and friends. May prayers strengthen you and memories comfort you. And may you find hope and comfort in God our Father, who loves us, comfort your hearts and "make you firm". (2 Thessalonians 2:16, 17).
