Dean Ferdinand Applehans was born Octoer 25, 1947 in Sterling, Colorado, to Ferdinand and Floy Applehans. He passed away March 10, 2023. Dean is survived by his sister, Floy Bishop, brother Joe Applehans, step-son, Rowdy Applehans, devoted son-in-law Kelly Pentico, granddaughter Micha Karell, three great grandchidren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Dean is predeceased by his parents, three bothers, and one nephew. During Dean's life, he shared a carpentry business with his brother Joe. Their outstanding workmanship was visible in their builds and their remodels. Dean loved wood working and oil painting. He enjoyed fishing, playing the guitar, and singing. Above all, family was the most important. Dean read the Bible everyday and devoted his life to the Lord. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
