Age 79, of Clayton, DE, formerly of Warsaw, NY passed away on January 5, 2026.
He was born in Warsaw, NY on June 27, 1946 to the late Robert O. and Lois May Cook Carlson. Lyle operated Carlson Farms on Green Bay Rd in Warsaw for 25 years. To Lyle farming was business, but also a hobby. Lyle enjoyed raising potatoes. When living in New York, he was a member of the Bliss Baptist Church and the Warsaw Grange.
Lyle is survived by his significant other, Carolyn Shinault; daughter, Kathy May Carlson; brother, Michael L. Carlson; sister, Marsha R. (Bob) Kersch; close friend, Steve Hulme and cats, Mitsie and Jake.
Private burial will take place in Union Park Cemetery, Wethersfield Springs at the convenience of the family.
