We regretfully inform our loving community that Penny S. Bisson, age 61, passed away from her valiant battle with complications from a brain tumor at 7:04 am on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Buffalo General Hospital.
She was born May 2, 1964. Penny was a loving mother, aunt, great aunt and grandmother to her son, Richard Waufle, his wife Julissa and her grandchildren, Dominic, Penelope, Henry, and Holley Waufle. Penny earned her Bachelor’s degree in human services, something she was very proud of. Penny loved nature, good music, helping anyone she could, and going to the movies. Penny loved reading and was at the Warsaw Public Library often. Penny loved to laugh and share her laughter with others. She had a very large personality and anyone that met her definitely remembered the encounter.
She is survived by her family, Donna of Almond, Carol and Danny Snyder of Warsaw, Gloria Crawford of Brockport, Steve Bisson of Warsaw, Brenda Gillen, Mark and Debbie Bisson of Warsaw, Amy and Bruce Neely of Canaserega NY and all of their children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by anyone who knows her.
She is predeceased by her parents Robert and Maude Bisson of Warsaw and her Brother in-law Joe Gillen.
Penny was an organ donor and a giving person. Her generosity offered the gift of life even after her passing.
Friends may attend a celebration of her life, held at a date to be determined. A private family service will be held for Penny at Robinson and Hackemer Funeral Home, Warsaw. In lieu of flowers, memorials maybe made to the Warsaw Public Library, 6 West Court St., Warsaw, NY 14569.
