Lee Moyer was born in Great Falls, Montana. When he was nine years old, his family moved to the Twin Cities in Minnesota. Lee lived there for the next twenty years during which time he graduated from the University of Minnesota. He had been in ROTC at the time of the Korean War, but President Eisenhower signed the Peace Treaty and Lee was never called to serve in the military.
Lee has five children: Curtis (Cherry) Moyer, of Vernon Arizona, Susan (Jim) Taskila, of Bolingbrook Illinois, Dean Paul Moyer, of Elgin Illinois, Rebecca (Kevin) Clevenger, of Warrenville Illinois, and the late Julie Ann and Barbara Moyer, three grandchildren: Jessica Marie Taskila, Benjamin Michael Taskila, and Jacob Daniel Clevenger, and two great grandchildren: Maxwell Benjamin Taskila and William Thomas Taskila, a brother: Keith (Lorraine) Moyer, and an uncle: Debra, David, and Cheryl Moyer.
Reading is something Lee enjoyed doing and being close to the library is a real plus! Mysteries are one of his favorites. Puzzles and walking are other activities he likes. He used to walk more than once a day and often three miles at a time. He liked to walk along the Riverwalk in Naperville. When he lived in his house, he would garden.
Before Lee moved to his most recent residence, he lived in Glendate Heights for twenty years. He was a corporate attorney and traveled all over the United States. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
