Virginia Eleanor Moyer, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 26th, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on Wednesday, October 11th, 1933, in Ridgetown, Ontario, Virginia was a cherished resident of Utica, MI, where she spent time surrounded by family and friends. A devoted homemaker, Virginia dedicated her life to nurturing her family and creating a warm and loving home. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering love were the cornerstones of her family, and her legacy will continue to inspire those who knew her. Virginia is survived by her children, Kerr (Patricia), Todd (Coleen) Moyerbraileain, Jon (Margret), and Kristy (Thomas) Doherty, as well as her stepson, Jack (Rosemary) Collins. She was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren and a great-grandmother to one great-grandchild. Virginia is also survived by her sister, Ruth Britton, who shared a lifetime of cherished memories with her. A grave side committal service will be held at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens in Novi, MI, on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Virginia's life, honoring the love and joy she brought to all who knew her. Arrangements have been entrusted to Wasik Funeral Home-Shelby Township, who have provided compassionate care and support to Virginia's family during this difficult time. Virginia Eleanor Moyer will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of her family and friends. Her spirit will live on through the love she shared and the memories she created.
