Lyn J. Elion

Lyn J. Elion, 45, Leesburg, died 11:09 a.m. Monday, Oct. 27, 2014 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. He was born Nov. 2, 1968 in Goshen to Charles Kent & Thelma (Smeltzer) Elion. He married Tammy (Martin) Elion on July 21, 1990 at Olive Mennonite Church. Surviving are his wife, Tammy, mother, Thelma Elion, Goshen, daughters, Monika Elion, Nelsonville, Ohio, Maddi Elion, Leesburg, siblings, Scot (Angie) Elion, Goshen, Mark (Brenda) Elion, South Milford and Joyce (Eugene) Stewart, Elkhart. Preceding him in death is his father, Charles Elion and brother, Kurt Elion. Lyn worked at Parker Hannifin for 24 years and was an avid Notre Dame football fan. A memorial gathering will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, October 31, 2014 at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen. Memorials may be directed to Faith Mission.
