77, of North Kingstown, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025 at the Bayview Rehabilitation in North Kingstown. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late William E. and Violet E. (Bokelund) Baker. She was the wife of the late Frank Smith.
Lynda was the loving mother of Frank Smith and his wife Alison, and the late Adam Smith; cherished grandmother of Frank Smith, Austin Smith and his fiancée Salim, and great grandmother of Kora Lynn Smith. She was the sister of the late Harry W. Baker. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Lynda worked as a manager for Xtra Mart convenience store for many years. She was a past PTA member at Stadium School in Cranston. She also loved her many dogs and pets.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Committal Service on Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston, to which we will gather outside the gates of the cemetery at 9:45 a.m.
