Lynda Brown was born July 29, 1948, in Jackson County, TN and she passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022, at her daughter's residence in Silver Point, TN, at the age of 73.
She was the daughter of the late Ed Tom Young and Stella Mai Young. On November 4, 1967, she was married to Taylor Brown, who survives. She was a registered dental assistant, and enjoyed painting, reading, and blackberry cobbler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Brothers: U.L. Young, Bill Young, Alvin Clay Young, and Roger Young; and Sister: Frances Wright.
Survivors include her Husband: Taylor Brown of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: Bob Brown of Panama City, FL; 2 Daughters: Cherri (Mike) Darrow of Silver Point, TN, and Misty (Ian) Stewart of Cookeville, TN; 5 Grandchildren: Lindsey Darrow, Ashton Darrow, Jasmine Brown, Nathan Brown, and Griffin Stewart; 2 Brothers: Eddie Young and Danny Young; and 4 Sisters: Alta Mai Miller, Wanda Young, June Young, and Mary Richards.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery on York Highway in Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 P.M. – 8 P.M., and Wednesday from 10 A.M. until time of services.
Bro. Kenneth Anderson will officiate at the services.
