Lynda Carol Ghadery (71) of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on August 09, 2024, after a strong fight with cancer.
Lynda was born on April 10, 1953, to Vertus and Ruth Toddie in Miami, Arizona. After graduating from Western High School in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1971, she began her career in the telecommunications and PBX field working at several Las Vegas hotels including Binion’s Horseshoe, The California Hotel, Stardust, Sahara, Mirage, MGM, and the Polo Towers in various roles progressing from a phone operator to supervisor and eventually department managerial leader.
In 1978 she met Ali Ghadery at the Sahara Hotel and within two months they married and shared 46 years of marriage. Lynda and Ali went on to have 3 children (Jason, Arzjang and Justin).
Lynda was predeceased by Vertus Toddie (father) Ruth Toddie (mother) and Shirley Brown (sister).
She is survived by Ali (husband), sons Jason (Erica -daughter-in-law), AJ and Justin, sister Saundra Toddie, grandchildren Koby, Kaiden, Shaylee, Mason, Gianna, and great-grandchild Ezra.
Services will be held at Davis Funeral Home & Memorial Park located at 6200 South Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas Nevada 89119 on Friday, August 30, 2024, with visitation from 9:00 am-11:00 am and funeral services starting at 11:00 am.
