Lynda M. Yanks, age 76, and a resident of Sheffield Lake, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, after a long battle with cancer. Born in Rome, New York, to Joseph and Rose (nee Rizzuto) Domagal, Lynda was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Robert Yanks; her loving daughter, Tabatha (Tim) Gable; her dedicated sons, Jason (Alaina) and Derek; and five cherished grandchildren, Jacob (Kelsey) Gable, Luke Gable, Hailey Yanks, Ava Yanks, and Violet Yanks, along with two great-grandchildren, Clark Gable and Irene Gable.

Lynda was a woman of deep faith and spirituality, known for her generosity and selflessness, always putting the needs of others before her own. She was actively involved in the practice of Reiki, a form of healing based on the idea that "universal life force energy" flows through the living things and can be channeled to promote healing. Using her healing skills to support cancer patients and others facing health challenges, offering them peace during their most difficult times.
