Lyndon Dale Hatley, 72, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at Atrium Health Cabarrus Hospital in Concord, surrounded by his loving family.
Dale was born July 2, 1951 in North Carolina to the late Lawrence C. Hatley and Evelyn Laton Hatley. He was also preceded in death by son, Benjamin Dale Hatley, and brother, Joel C. Hatley.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Friday, February 16, 2024, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Faith Freewill Baptist Church in New London officiated by Pastor Gene Mullis. Burial will follow at the Faith Freewill Baptist Cemetery in New London.
Survivors include wife of 51 years, Denise Hatley of Albemarle; daughter, Chanda (Terry) Waller of Albemarle; Step-mother, Jo Hatley ("Mama Jo") of Albemarle; Siblings, Darrell (Debbie) Hatley of Lincolnton, Inga (Ray) Koujak of Kernersville, Warren (Crystal) Hatley of Albemarle, and Lauri Jo (Louie) Sides of Albemarle. Grandchildren Terin and Sophie Waller, Gracie and Micah Hatley.
Memorials may be made to The National Kidney Foundation of Charlotte, NC and/or Faith Freewill Baptist Church of New London.
