Lyndon Archie Lynch, age 92, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Maplecrest Manor with his wife of 72 years at his side.
Lyndon was born on November 2, 1931, to Archie and Beatrice (Krebs) Lynch in the township of Nepeuskun, Winnebago County, WI. He graduated from Ripon High School in 1950. On June 14, 1952, he married the love of his life June Brey at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Ripon, WI. They were blessed with four children, Larry, Robin, Dawn, and Timothy. Lyndon was a farmer and an AI technician for Curtis Breeding Service from 1963 to 1980. Lyndon then became a sales representative for Moorman Manufacturing Company, and finished his career working for the Bemis Corporation in Oshkosh. Throughout his life Lyndon enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing dartball, bowling, and playing cards – especially sheepshead. He was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, served on Church council, and was a member of the mens club.
He is survived by his wife June; children, Larry (Linda) Lynch, Robin (T.J.) Sitter, Dawn (Robert) Panoch, Timothy (Jean) Lynch; 16 grandchildren, Renee, Kelly, Jason, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Jason, Alicia, Shelly, Joshua, Amber, Amy, Heather, Amber-Lynn, John, Megan, Logan; 26 great grandchildren, Nastasha, Drake, Skylar, Cameron, Aidan, Daniel, Kennedy, Carlee, Maddox, Colton, Carter, Alison, Blake, Mason, Trent, Traxton, Gavin, Evan, Emma, Camden, Ava, Ellis, Isla, Solomon, Zyon, Jada; 3 great-great grandchildren, Lucas, Aurora, and Levi. He is preceeded in death by his parents; sisters, Bernice Pinnow, and Marion Born; brothers-in-law, Ervin Pinnow, and Marvin Born.
Visitation for Lyndon will take place on Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 9:00 am till 11:00 am at Mount Zion Lutheran Church, 307 Mt. Zion Dr, Ripon, WI 54971.
A funeral service for Lyndon will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 11:00 am, at Mount Zion Lutheran Church, with Pastor Michael Sheppard officiating. Interment will take place at Liberty Prairie Cemetery, Pickett, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Lyndon’s name may be directed to the Winnebago Lutheran Academy or Mount Zion Lutheran Church.
