Lynelle "Lyn" Larson (Longtine) died peacefully at Essentia Hospital on September 17th, 2024 in Fargo, ND at the age of 57.
Lyn is survived by her husband, Vincent "Vinnie" Larson; their children, Michael Larson and Nathan (Trista) Larson; her grandchildren, Kyle and Thea Larson; her sisters, Gigi (Doug) Newman, Janelle Patnaude, Giselle Longtine; and brother, Derek Longtine. She is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Rochelle “Shelly” Longtine, and her mother and father-in-law, Victor and Arlene Larson.
Lyn was born on December 18th, 1966 in Detroit Lakes, MN to Frank and Rochelle Longtine. She graduated from Lake Park High School in June 1985. She married Vinnie on April 15th, 1985. Right after, the couple moved to Georgia, but not before welcoming their son Mike into their family along the way. The couple welcomed their second son, Nathan, into their family in April of 1990.
Lyn was passionate about sports, especially the Minnesota Vikings and often indulged in watching old football videos she found online. She loved her grandchildren and spending time outside in the sun.
The memorial is scheduled for Saturday, September 21, at 11 a.m., at Eksjo Lutheran Church, Lake Park, MN. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Lyn's life. The family would like to thank the hospital staff, family, and friends for their support and care.
The family requests that you wear Minnesota Vikings attire to the service in honor of Lyn's steadfast support to her favorite team over the years.
