Lynette Rae Gow (Hilborn), 75, of West Haven, UT passed away Friday, March 21, 2025, at McKay Dee Hospital surrounded by loved ones.

Born July 22, 1949 in Oroville, California, the daughter of the late Richard and Margaret Hilborn. Anyone who knew Lynette knew if it was purple she owned it, she was known for her love for Sci-Fi shows specifically Independence Day (so much that she wore out the DVD and could no longer play it).

Lynette married her Highschool sweetheart Ronald Edward Gow in October 1967 they were married for over 57 years. Lynette and Ronald moved to Utah after he was stationed here while in the U.S. Air Force. After his retirement they chose to stay, living in Layton, UT. Lynette worked on the U.S Air Force base in Utah for over 30 years before choosing to retire.

Lynette is survived by her 3 children: Dawn (Todd) Ewing, Rebecca (Zachary) Hendrix, Laura (Benson) Wilkins. She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren and 28 Great grandchildren; Michael (Elizabeth)Ewing; Jathan, Addy, Lyra, Keplan. Amanda (Kyle) Wilson; Kayden, Kendall. Robert (Melissa) Huffman; Jonas, Cru, Parker, Jay, Casey. Nathan (Haley)Ewing; Oliver, Olivia, Liam. Taylor (Craig) Johnson; Quade, Skylee, Cohen. Tabatha (Taylor)Rank; Killian, Piper. Nicholas. Danni (Mitch) Cloward; Stetson, Ryker, Colt, Remi. Stephanie Fetters; Hadlie, Daxton. Clint (Brooklyn) Wilkins. Janet (Chase) Fowers; Chance, Jasper, Connor. She is preceded in death by her parents; Richard and Margaret Hilborn, Husband; Ronald Gow, Sister; Bonnie Fugate, and Great grandchild; Ty Cloward.

Lynette was an amazing person who loved spending time with her family. She is reunited with her high school sweetheart, which is all she wanted.

Graveside Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday March 31, 2025 at the West Haven Cemetery, 1525 South 2350 West.
