Lynette Alexandra Jones, age 77, of rural Lake Crystal, MN, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2025, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN, surrounded by the love of her family.
Visitation will be held on September 17, 2025 from 11: 00a.m-12: 00p.m, at Mankato Mortuary. Burial will follow at Minneopa Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Christ the King Lutheran Church, Mankato, MN.
Born on December 27, 1947, in Lewisville, Minnesota, Lynette lived a life defined by devotion—to her faith, her family, and the simple joys that brought her happiness. She is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Thomas, and their three sons: Kent (Erica), Tom (Alyssa), and Scott (Kayla); as well as three siblings: Steve, Greg, and Cynthia; along with many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents: Delfin and Wanda Wilke; and sister Pamela. Her spirit continues through seven cherished grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, each of whom she adored and celebrated with pride.
Lynette’s love for her family was the heart of her world. She found joy in sewing and embroidery, often creating thoughtful gifts for her grandchildren that will be treasured for generations. Her strong faith guided her throughout her life, offering comfort and strength to those around her.
She will be remembered for her perseverance, strong will, and her unwavering love for her family. Her memory lives on in the lives she touched and the love she gave so freely.
