Lynette Elizabeth Smith was born on March 8, 1970, in Ocala, Florida, to Jeanette Howard and Luke Berry Smith. She was educated at various schools in Wildwood, Florida, and graduated from Wildwood High School in the class of 1988. She attended Lake Community College for a short time.
Lynette worked at Walmart in Leesburg until she married and relocated to Largo, Florida. Her last place of employment was Hire Check of Largo, Florida, before her health began failed. Lynette started her Christian journey at Spark Level MBC in Cherry Lake, where she was baptized by Reverend Levi Nelson. When the family relocated to Saint Petersburg, Florida, she joined Friendship MBC under Dr. John Evans. She served until she relocated, and her health continued to fail.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Janette Howard Smith, and her brother Leonard B. Smith.
Lynette leaves to mourn her passing one son: Ronnie W. Thomas III (LaShaunta), of St. Petersburg, Florida; James Smith (nephew who is like a son); her father: Luke Berry Smith of Cherry Lake/Apopka, Florida; one sister: Janice Helm (Darryl) of Apopka, Florida; one grandson: Braylon Thomas; and three bonus grand-daughters: Nevaeh Goodman, Nayana Goodman, and LaMonica Seay, one nephew: William Smith; and one niece: Samantha Mikell. She also leaves to mourn, devoted grandnieces: Shayanna Flores and Ki'era Dallas; five additional grandnieces, three grand-nephews, and many other cousins, nieces, and nephews.
