Lynn Schober Andrews passed peacefully in her sleep beside the love of her life, and awoke in the arms of Jesus on Saturday, August 3, 2024.
Born on October 16, 1960, in Dallas, TX, Lynn was raised in Irving, TX, by her loving parents, Woody and Carol Schober. She grew up with her older brother, David Schober, who preceded her in heaven.
A proud graduate of Irving High School, class of 1979, Lynn's passion for music was evident as a dedicated member of the Irving High School marching band. Her love of music continued throughout her whole life as she was a faithful member in her church choir.
Lynn married the man she prayed for, Sammy Andrews on February 21,1981. Over their 43 years of marriage, they built a beautiful life together, starting with their two daughters, Jennifer Cimaglia and Samantha Cross.
Lynn's Christian faith was the cornerstone of her life. She loved the Lord deeply and dedicated herself to serving Him in every way. Her vibrant spirit shone brightly as she volunteered tirelessly in her community and church, adding her unique sparkle wherever she went. She was a proud employee of Irving Independent School District for 34 years. Starting as a Paraprofessional at FM Gilbert then moving on to many roles in Irving ISD but her most proud and deserved role was Executive Assistant to the Superintendent of Schools. Her infectious joy and energy could light up any room, and though she was small in stature, she was mighty in spirit. Lynn fought courageously against all of her medical conditions with grace and unwavering faith. Her faith will be her legacy, passed down to her daughters Jennifer Cimaglia and husband Tony and Samantha Cross and husband Taylor.
She had many roles wife, mother, daughter and friend but her favorite role was YaYa. Bailey (14 years old), Brooke (13 years old), Lexy and Lacy (9 years old), Blake (8 years old) and Logan (16 months old) were her sweetest blessings.
The world will miss "The Lynn Andrews Sparkle" but through faith we have joy that we will see her in heaven.

I enjoyed working with Lynn at Irving ISD and with her husband Sammy. She was a bright spot in many a hectic workday. My prayers for God´s strength and comfort and peace through His deep abiding love for you in the days ahead. My heart grieves for you at this time but also knowing we grieve with the hope in Christ Jesus. Judyann Robinson

I first met Lynn in 10th grade science class. Alphabetically, we ended up as table mates/lab partners. We became fast friends. Lynn was one of the kindest, most genuine people I've ever known. It's unreal to me that she's gone. I celebrated with her recently, via Facebook, in her triumph over breast cancer. The news of her passing is overwhelming. My deepest condolences to her parents, Sammy, her girls, her grandchildren, and all that knew and loved her.
