Lynn Willis Christensen, 82, passed away on November 23, 2025, surrounded by his family. Lynn was born on October 3, 1943, in Tremonton Utah to Willis Ole Christensen and Verna May Barfuss. On August 30, 1967, Lynn married the love of his life Sandra K. Burke in Ogden UT Later being sealed for time and eternity in the Logan Temple.

Lynn grew up in Tremonton UT where he grew up farming. After getting married he moved to West Point UT where he started and raised his family living there for the remainder of his life.

Lynn was a hardworking man who woke up every morning before the sun could rise to get his day started in his garden, the place he found his peace. He was not a person to sit still, he stayed busy by working, gardening and spending time with his grandkids.

Lynn worked for 30 years at and retired from HAFB and the Utah National Guard; after retiring he continues to work part time for the Davis County School District.

Lynn graduated from Bear River High School in 1961; after graduating he served an LDS mission in New Zealand.

Lynn is survived by his wife of 58 years Sandra K. Christensen, 5 children Brian Christensen, Pam (Jeff) Long, Jason (Kathy) Christensen, Heidi Christensen and Angela Adams, 13 grandchildren who love and adore him, 6 great grandchildren and two more on the way. Siblings, Paul (Lana) Christensen, Gay Larson, Reed (Linda) Christensen, Bonnie (Curtis) Starr, Garth (Kristi) Christensen, Neil (Mary Kate) Christensen, Annette (Steve) Rich, Kevin Christensen Brother-in-law Phil Butcher and many nieces and nephews.

Lynn is preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Verna Christensen, Siblings, Carol Butcher, Joyce (Scott) Germer, and Helen Christensen. Daughter in law, Tammy Christensen. Brother in laws, Dutch Larson, Douglas Burke, Sister-in-law, Pam Christensen. Mother and Father-in-law Melba and Roy Burke.

Lynn was a family man who loved his family and his family loved him even more.

His legacy lives in every life he touched, as a Husband who cherished, a dad who inspired and a grandpa who adored. He will be missed.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at West Point City Cemetery. 80 North 4000 West, West Point. Friends may visit with family prior to service from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Syracuse Mortuary. 869 South 2000 West, Syracuse UT.
