Mr. Lynn "Gator Bait" Crossway age 66 of Lawtey passed away at his home unexpectedly Saturday, January 20,2024. He was born September 16, 1957, in Verona, New York to Eugene and Doris (Hill) Crossway. Gator Bait was a retired car hauler and he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, watching NASCAR, and Florida Gator Football. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife of 33 years Linda (Nolan) Crossway. His survivors are five children Annie "Chosen One", Jennifer, Adam, Gary, and Candice along with three brothers Wayne, Gene, and Donald. He was lovingly called "Pawpaw" "Grandpaw" and "Crapaw" by eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to local VFW's, Soldiers Freedom Outdoors in Melrose, American Legion Post 250 in Middleburg Florida BACA-7Bridges or the American Cancer Society. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 10, 2024, at the Red Dog Saloon. Arrangements are under the care of JONES-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME, 620 E. Nona St. Starke, FL 32091.
