Matthew was educated at Whitesboro Central Schools, graduating in 2011, later attending MVCC earning an Associate's in Electrical Engineering.
He enjoyed spending his time hiking and camping and was a proud Eagle Scout belonging to Troop 79, Marcy, NY, where he also served as an assistant Scout Master.
Matthew is survived by his parents, Tim and Judith Crossway; a brother Shawn Crossway; as well as 9 aunts and uncles who loved him dearly; and numerous cousins.
He was predeceased by both his maternal and paternal grandparents, Warren and Patricia Crossway, and John and Irene O'Toole.
Friends are invited to call on the family on Sunday February 5, from 3 – 5 PM at Dimbleby Funeral Homes, Inc., 40 Main Street, Whitesboro. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday February 6 at 11:30 AM at St. Paul's Catholic Church Whitesboro. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
