Lynn Fields Obituary

Published by Legacy on Nov. 16, 2024.
Lynn Marie Fields, a beloved teacher with over 44 years of dedication to education, passed away on November 14, 2024, at the age of 71. Born on September 12, 1953, in Cincinnati, OH, Lynn's life was one of love, faith, and selflessness. She leaves behind a legacy of caring, kindness, and immense generosity.
Throughout her teaching career, Lynn was deeply involved in various programs and ceremonies, including guiding young children through their first communions. Her commitment to helping and tutoring children extended beyond the classroom, impacting countless lives along the way. Lynn's faith was a guiding light in her life, shaping her values and actions.
Family always came first for Lynn, and she cherished the moments spent with her spouse, Roger Fields, her children Nicholas Fields and Kristen (Paul) Reed, as well as her grandchildren Tre Perry, Jaelyn Perry, and Ava Reed, her siblings Pat (Tony) Baxter and Chuck Miller (Jerry Butler), her sister-in-law's Pam (Jim) Ford and Beth (Dan) Teehan. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Holiday gatherings with loved ones held a special place in her heart.
In her leisure time, Lynn found joy in traveling the world with her husband, embarking on enriching cruises, exploring destinations across the United States and Europe and spending time with her family. Whether she was solving puzzles, creating artwork, or assisting with her husband's catering business, Lynn's vibrant spirit and sense of humor touched all those around her.
A Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Lynn's life will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton on November 22, 2024, at 11:00 am, preceded by a visitation at 10:00 am. Let us gather to honor Lynn's memory, sharing stories of her kindness, dedication, and the immeasurable impact she had on all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Lynn's name to Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton School.
