Dear sister of Tom Giesenschlag (the late Barb), Jack Giesenschlag (Cathy), Roy Giesenschlag (Colleen), the late Gail Kelter, and Judy (the late Howard). Sister-in-law of Kent Hayes (Janet), the late Barry Hayes, Todd Hayes (the late Janie) and Craig Hayes (Sherri).
Lynn is also survived by many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews. Lynn's parents Orville and Ruth Giesenschlag preceded her in death.
Lynn retired from Prudential Insurance after 45 years. She enjoyed going to plays at the Fireside Theater, cheering on the Green Bay Packers, and reading books.
Visitation at the Funeral Home on Monday, November 3 from 10:00 AM, until the time of Funeral Service at 11:30 AM. Private family burial.

I was sorry to hear of Lynn´s passing. I worked with her for many years at Prudential before her retirement. Whenever I visited the Wauwatosa office she was a bright spot during my day! She always had a smile, a story, and was so willing to share her knowledge and expertise gained from so many years of experience. She also had a constant flow of people stopping at her desk for some conversation and a few treats from her famous candy drawer!! I was blessed to have known her and to work alongside of her and have her as a friend. May she rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers are with you Jenny, Brad, and Lynn´s family.

Lynn "The Mims" was truly one of a kind. Growing up, she was like a bonus mom to me. Whether it was a late-night adventure or a ride across town, The Mims was always there, no questions asked. She was a rockstar of a mom to Jenny and somehow managed to extend that same love and care to all of us lucky enough to be in her orbit. When there were things I couldn´t talk to my own mom about, The Mims was all ears, compassionate, wise, and never judgmental. Her presence was a gift, and her absence will be deeply felt. Thank you, Mims, for being our safe place. You will be truly missed. Until we meet again. Love ya Tina
