Lynn Olson Obituary
Lynn “Leonard” Olson, 55, of Irene SD passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Sunset Manor Avera in Irene. A visitation will be held at Hansen Funeral Home, Irene on Monday, November 6, 2023, from 5:00-7:00PM. A Celebration of Life will take place Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at Hansen Funeral Home beginning at 2:00PM.
Lynn was born February 5, 1968, to Robert and Janice (Herrboldt) Olson in Yankton, SD. He worked various jobs throughout his life. He loved watching football, spending time with his family, and playing progressive rummie and pinochle.
Lynn is survived by his mother, Janice of Irene, sister, Wendy (Doug) Knutson of Wakonda, SD, brother-in-law, Rodney Polley of Wakonda, SD; nephews and nieces Nathan (Shelby) Knutson, Tyler (Morgan) Knutson, Amanda Knutson and fiancé Hunter, Adam (Danielle) Polley, Justin (Ashley) Polly, and Roxanne Polley. He also had six great nephews and nieces.
He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Olson, sister Cheryl Polley, and his grandparents.
