Lynne M. Willis
Lynne Meredith Willis, 83, of Libby, Montana passed away peacefully on August 18, 2025, at Cabinet Peaks Medical Center, surrounded in love with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Ron P. Willis who predeceased her on June 5, 2011.
Born August 30, 1941, in Butte, MT, she was the daughter of the late Frederic Joseph and Lois Evalynne Pratt.
She was a dedicated member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in Libby, MT as well as a business owner in the community.
Returning to Montana from Washington, she and her late husband Ron established Ron's Service & Repair in Libby in 1985 where she worked as Owner/Manager until 2019. Prior to that time, she was a breakfast cook for 20 years at the Surf and Sand restaurant in Copalis Beach, WA.
Lynne's most treasured days were spending time with her family and friends. Whether it be exploring all the backroads of Libby with Ron in their old Willys Jeep, scouting out for that perfect fishing hole, lunch on Saturday with her special friends, a church social or the countless barbeques, picnics, special occasions, meals, plays, or an occasional ball game with her family. Anyone that knew Lynne would often hear her say that she was ("blessed beyond measure").
Lynne is survived by her children: Cliff Hammer and wife Lisa, Mark Hammer and wife Mardi, Kristi Willis, Ken Willis, Ron Willis and wife Alicia, Kerri McCully and husband Brett, and Misty Edwards and husband Justin; son in law Steve Longworth; brothers Darrell Pratt and wife Jacqueline and Frederic Pratt and wife Linda; 21 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her late husband Ronald P. Willis and Daughter Christine D. Longworth.
There will be no funeral service upon Lynne's request. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Expressions of sympathy may be made in memory of Lynne M. Willis to Kootenai Pets for Life, P.O. Box 1454 Libby, MT 59923. Arrangements are under the care of Schnackenberg Funeral Home of Libby, MT.
