James A. Kyriss, Obituary
James A. Kyriss, 60, passed away at his home in Libby on August 14, 2025. He was born on October 3, 1964, in Bonners Ferry, ID, to Arthur and Joanne (Siefke) Kyriss. James graduated from Troy High School. He worked at Chapel Cedar and Perfect Assh. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, mushroom picking, and visiting with friends.
James is survived by his mother, Joanne Kyriss; his son, Adam Kyriss, in service in TX; his brothers, David Kyriss (Terrie) of Troy, MT, Mike Kyriss (Emma) of Salt Lake City, UT and Jesse Kyriss of Libby; sister-in-law JoAnn Kyriss of Elko, NV; nieces and nephews Nick, Devin, Rebecca, Clayton, Jeff and Samantha; and cousins, Connie and John; and best friend ever, Sally Sauer.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Arthur Kyriss; brother, Jon Kyriss; and many, many friends! He will be greatly missed.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, September 6, 2025, 2:00 p.m., at the American Legion in Libby, MT. Arrangements are under the care of Schnackenberg Funeral Home of Libby. Online condolences and memories may be shared by visiting www.schnackenbergfh.com.
