Lynnette Terrien Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by The Memorial Chapel of Waukegan on Jul. 1, 2023.
Lynnette Rheann "Doe" Terrien, 70 years old, of Waukegan, joined the presence of the Lord on June 28, 2023 just a month and a day shy of her 71st birthday. Lynnette was born on July 29, 1952, to Lynn "Buster" Shields Johnson and Ana Smith. She was born and raised in Waukegan, and remained a life long area resident.
Lynnette enjoyed small things in life, watching her favorite shows such as Raymond, Chicago Wednesdays, or General Hospital while snacking on some orange cream candy. She accomplished many dreams, including writing and publishing her own book called "Signs". She enjoyed golfing (Tiger Woods biggest fan), eating at local restaurants such as Shirls and Cracker Barrell. She loved animals specially her dalmatian. She had a heart of gold but a hot temper. Lynnette had a spark that would light up a firecracker, a sass and a wicked sense of humor that can make anyone laugh. She was the family patriarch, always there with a helping hand for anyone who needed her.
Lynnette is now at peace, dancing in the arms of her beloved husband, Paul James Terrien Jr. (2018) and her beloved son, Paul "PJ" James Terrien III (2023). She is survived by her daughter's Lori "Lolo" Terrien and Paulie "Pookie" Crone; beloved grandchildren, Daniel Jr. Sisk, Stephen Sisk, Cecelia "Creepy girl" Centeno, Christian Mendez, Enrique Centeno, Edilfonso Jr. "Sasquash" (Eloisa) Centeno, Paul (Tabitha) Terrien IV, Joshua and Alyssa; seven great grandchildren, Karahline, Tabitha, Rylie, Rylee, Jamie, Samuel and Charles "Charlie"; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, siblings, extended family and countless friends.
Lynnette's celebration of life, will be held on Sunday, July 2nd, 2023 from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm on Sunday, at the Double Tree by Hilton, 11800 108th Street, Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin 53158. Please join her family and friends to celebrate the life of this extraordinary woman, they call mom. When you see cherry blossoms or anything that reminds you of her, think of her and reminisce on the happiness, the good times, her memory will continue forever on.
