Clark M. Worthington, age 93, of Medina, Ohio, passed away on February 9, 2023. He was born September 29, 1929, the son of the late Lawrence and Anna Shields Worthington of Newville, Pennsylvania. Clark moved to Medina in 1962, where he was employed by Hausted Manufacturing Company for 14 years. In 1979 he moved his family to Ft. Myers, Florida, where he was employed by Westinghouse Gateway Golf and County Club for 18 years. He retired in 1998 as Chief Mechanic. After 20 years, due to health problems, he and his wife Lois moved back to Medina. In 2008 Clark lost his wife Lois to cancer.
Clark proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Clark loved the outdoors; hunting, fishing, camping and golfing. He loved to shoot his muzzleloader rifle.
Clark was preceded in death by his father and mother, Lawrence and Anna Worthington; 11 brothers and sisters, Birtha, Bruce, Ida, Roy, Paul, John, Myles, Fred, Dorothy, Mary, and Elwood; son, Clark Norman; his first wife, Violet Hollowniczky Worthington; and second wife, Lois J. Caperton Worthington. Clark is survived by his two daughters, Cindy Camp of Medina and Carol Worthington of New York; step-daughter, Marilyn J. Seamon of Medina; step-son, James R. and Chris Bailey of Tennessee; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends at VFW Post 5137, 3916 Pearl Road, Medina, on Wednesday, February 15 at 11:00 am, with the funeral service following at noon. Due to restrictions on the number of flowers allowed at the grave, contributions may be made to the family, in lieu of flowers.
