M. J. Gann Obituary
Funeral services for M.J. Gann, 100 of Gilmer will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 12, 2015, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Larry Lansdale and Reverend Larry Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Ore City Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mr. Gann passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015 in Gilmer. He was born on August 20, 1915 in Patroon, TX, to Marion Stephenson and Minnie Monroe Gann. Mr. Gann was an operator at Lone Star Steel, and a member of New Life Assembly of God in Ore City. He is survived by his sons, M.S. Gann and wife Ellen, Jerry Gann and wife Vicki; daughter, Joye Cooper and husband Randy; daughter in law Cora Gann; thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Gann was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Gearldean Gann; son, Billy Hugh Gann; and granddaughter, Susan Pinson. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Sunday, October 11, 2015 at the funeral home.
